Important notes on the use of CREFIX Gold
- Homogenize: CREFIX Gold must be well shaken or homogenized before use!
- Temperatures: Ideally keep the processing and ambient temperature between +5°C and +30°C.
- No third-party additives: Do not combine with other additives unless they are explicitly approved by Crefix. Products from other manufacturers can have a negative effect.
- Cement quality & dosage: Suitable for CEM I or CEM II A and all cements approved by Crefix. Recommended dosage: 0.1 - 0.4% of the cement weight (max. 100ml CREFIX Gold per 200l mixture / 50kg cement). The exact dosage must be determined by initial testing.
- Application & mixing time: Add CREFIX Gold to the first mixing water. For optimum effect, ensure a mixing time of at least 2 minutes.
- Protection & ventilation: Protect freshly laid screed surfaces from rain, draughts and direct sunlight during the hydration phase. Ensure draught-free ventilation. The use of construction dryers is only recommended after the screed is ready for covering.
- Conformity to standards: The mandatory test for conformity to standards (e.g. regarding aggregates in accordance with DIN EN 13139, Ö-Norm EN 13318) must be carried out by the screed company.
